Scheduled Caravans fly Entebbe to Kihihi (for Buhoma/Ruhija, north Bwindi) or Kisoro (for Nkuringo/Rushaga and Mgahinga) most mornings, saving the 9–10 h drive. Camps meet the airstrip with 4×4s; the transfer to trailheads is 45–90 min on rough mountain roads. Flying both ways is the comfortable plan; fly-one-way-drive-the-other is the popular compromise with scenery on the road leg.
