Light aircraft (Cessna Caravans) leave Wilson throughout the morning, dropping guests at dirt airstrips inside or beside the reserve where camp vehicles meet them. Flying saves five-plus hours of road and the roughest stretch, and windows sit right of wing for Rift Valley views. Luggage is strictly soft-sided, 15 kg incl. hand luggage, and seats near the pilot are often the quietest.

Wilson is on the south side of Nairobi (Langata Road) — allow 45–90 min from the city centre in traffic. Free or cheap transfers from city hotels are usually arranged with your ticket.
