A rugged, hot, arid reserve along the Ewaso Ng’iro River, home to the “Samburu Special Five”: Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Beisa oryx, gerenuk and Somali ostrich. Fewer visitors than the southern parks, a strong leopard sighting record, and Samburu community conservancies all around it.
